Green plates for zero-emission vehicles

The green flash shows your vehicle is zero-emission – battery electric or hydrogen. It can unlock local perks and makes EVs easy to recognise. Combine it with the UK identifier and Union flag, and any style from printed to 5D.

  • Green flash on the left edge of each plate
  • Optional UK + Union flag (no UK sticker needed in most of Europe)
  • Printed, 3D gel, 4D and 5D characters

Only zero-emission vehicles can display a green flash – not hybrids. Read green number plates for electric cars.
